You might not recognize all the names or faces of Metro Retro’s musicians, but you’ll have heard and/or seen them on any number of occasions, ranging from playing in the orchestra for Broadway shows at the Ordway, Orpheum, Southern, and State Theaters; as free-lance players hired to round out the bands of touring performers as varied as Prince and Tony Bennett; in local venues ranging in size from the Dakota, Jazz Central, and Artist’s Quarter clubs to the Target and Excel Energy Centers and the Minneapolis Convention Center; in radio and television commercial recordings for companies like Target Corporation and HOM Furniture; touring with national touring bands like Doc Severinsen’s …and as musicians in other respected bands in the Twin Cities.
This is the caliber of free-lance professional musicians who play with Metro Retro. Added to our musicality is our focus on working in advance with clients to understand their needs so that we meet and exceed their expectations. This will guarantee a quality performance that will enhance your event.
