You might not recognize the names or faces of all of Metro Retro’s musicians but you’ll have heard and/or seen many of them on any number of occasions, ranging from playing in the orchestra pit for Broadway shows at the Ordway, Orpheum, and State Theaters; as free-lance players hired to round out the bands of touring performers as varied as Prince and Tony Bennett; in local venues ranging in size from The Dakota to the Target and Xcel Energy Centers; in recording sessions for radio and television commercials; and as members of other bands in the Twin Cities.
